Young Professionals' Forum (YPs@APCS) is an ongoing feature of 2015APCS and provides an invaluable professional development opportunity for emerging private and public sector leaders from the Asia Pacific aged between 18 to 30. Delegates will be presented with a series of urban challenges relating to the summit program themes and will be tasked with finding solutions, which are cost neutral or revenue positive to city administrations.

YPs@APCS is proudly sponsored and facilitated by Griffith University.


YPs@APCS is an opportunity for emerging leaders to join internationally renowned leaders, companies, thinkers and leading cities at 2015APCS.

Key highlights include:

  • participation in an online forum to analyse the urban challenges addressed at 2015APCS ahead of the summit
  • thought-provoking workshops with peers from the Asia Pacific region
  • an opportunity to influence attending international mayors with solutions for cities
  • an exclusive dinner with international mayors
  • access to the wider 2015APCS program including keynote and plenary sessions, networking opportunities and official 2015APCS events.

Eligibility criteria

To be eligible for YPs@APCS, you must:

  • be between 18-30 years of age
  • have experience in and passion for one or more of the summit program themes
